GOODMINZ is mince, made from fresh vegetables.
It’s an inspiring new kitchen staple – amazing if you love veggies, a revelation if you follow a vegan or vegetarian diet and a culinary inspiration if you just want to eat more plants.
GOODMINZ is made from minced fresh vegetables and other wholesome ingredients like chickpeas and quinoa. This celebration of vegetables makes it uniquely different to the ‘veggie minces’ and other meat substitutes on the market.
GOODMINZ has delicious flavours, lovely textures and comes in a rainbow of colour-flavours – Green, Purple, Orange and Brown.
We set out to create food for folks that love really good grub. GOODMINZ is versatile and easy to turn into family favourites or creative dishes. We love it as veggie burgers and sausages, no-meat balls, in wraps and as pasta and pizza toppings. The products are only lightly seasoned so you can pimp GOODMINZ with herbs, spices, seeds, nuts, fruits and flowers to make your own favourite recipes and combinations (see our ideas here).
It is widely accepted that eating more plants is better for you, and, nutritionally, GOODMINZ is really good mince. Each product contains five vegetables and a 114g (quarter-pounder) serving gives 1 of your recommended 5 a day. GOODMINZ is also a source of protein, a source of fibre and is low in saturated fat. GOODMINZ contains no gluten-containing ingredients and is free from soya and allergens (except for fresh celeriac in our Purple GOODMINZ). Read more about this here.
GOODMINZ wasn’t created in an industrial kitchen or Silicon Valley with millions of $$’s. It was created by a plant-based chef and his family, all awe-inspired by the wonders of plants and their critical role in the future of food.
Alongside the vegetables, the other ingredients in GOODMINZ are easily understandable and could be found in a home kitchen. Our products are minimally processed – we simply prepare, mince, mix and pack these ingredients to optimise the philosophies of a whole food plant-based diet.
It is well documented that eating more plants and less intensively-farmed meat is significantly better for the environment. This is a complex area of debate, but those that put planetary concerns at the heart of their eating choices can enjoy GOODMINZ knowing they are contributing to improving the environment for themselves and future generations.
An increasing number of people hold ideological beliefs about the use of animals for food, but too often this means compromising real food values. There is no such compromise with GOODMINZ – is a revelation if you follow a vegan or vegetarian diet. We are also happy in ourselves that we make food products that are better for all creatures great and small.
GOODMINZ is approved by The Vegetarian Society and also holds their Vegan Accreditation.
GOODMINZ will be available nation-wide here in the Reroot Foods online store from February 2018, with pre-orders being taken in December 2017.
